Effective date: March 15, 2026. This policy explains how Shop-Guardian handles account information, domain scan data, trust signals, and billing metadata.
This Privacy Policy describes how Shop-Guardian collects, uses, and protects information when you use our cybersecurity trust intelligence SaaS for storefront teams, including website pages, dashboard features, scans, and support interactions.
We collect account details (such as name, company, and email), authentication and session data, support communications, subscription and billing metadata, and scan-related technical outputs. We do not intentionally collect full payment card numbers in Shop-Guardian systems.
When you submit a domain, Shop-Guardian evaluates publicly available trust and security signals, including HTTPS reachability, SSL certificate metadata, redirect behavior, security headers, DNS/CDN indicators, trust-page availability, and risk indicators derived from those checks. User-submitted domains, scan timestamps, and resulting trust signals are stored to provide report history, trend analysis, and domain monitoring in your workspace.
We use information to provide and secure the service, operate the Scan Pipeline, generate Trust Score and Security Insights outputs, process subscriptions, prevent fraud and abuse, communicate service updates, and improve platform reliability and user experience.
Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Billing events, subscription status, and limited payment metadata are used for account entitlements, invoicing, and customer support. Shop-Guardian relies on Stripe-hosted billing flows for checkout and subscription management.
We may share information with trusted processors that support hosting, infrastructure, analytics, authentication, communications, and payments. We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce platform terms, or to protect users, Shop-Guardian, and the public from harm.
Shop-Guardian uses layered safeguards designed to protect account and service data, including access controls, authenticated service boundaries, transport encryption, monitoring, and operational controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely risk-free, but we continuously improve our safeguards.
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide services, maintain scan history and reporting, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary by data category and account status.
You can update account information in your workspace and request account assistance through support. Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information that Shop-Guardian controls.
Your information may be processed in locations where we or our service providers operate. Shop-Guardian is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. Updated versions are effective when posted, and continued use of the service means you accept the updated policy.
